Description

The Post Office is a house built around 1830, constructed of brick with a slate roof. It features two storeys and three bays, presenting a symmetrical facade. The main entrance has a door with six raised and fielded panels set in panelled reveals, topped by a fanlight with radial glazing, all within a pilastered doorcase that has a moulded cornice. The ground floor has 16-pane sash windows beneath gauged brick segmental arches, while the first floor also has 16-pane sashes framed in wooden architraves. The building has end stacks and a hipped roof.
