Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house likely dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is built of pinkish-red brick in English bond, with the front whitewashed, and has a pantile roof. The building is T-shaped, with a rear range set back to the left. It is two storeys high with three first-floor windows. The off-centre entrance has a 20th-century six-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight. The ground floor has two 16-pane sash windows. The first floor has a band of chamfered brick on rubbed modillions, interrupted above the door. A first-floor band supports an 18-pane, three-light Yorkshire sash window to the right, and 16-pane sashes. There is a cogged band below the eaves. The roof sweeps upwards, with brick copings and a ridge stack. The gable ends have a three-course first-floor band and a two-course gable band. To the left gable is an eight-pane Yorkshire sash window, and to the right gable a casement window, both set under triangular pediments of rubbed brick.
