Description
This is an 18th-century sundial located approximately 20 metres to the north-east of Burton Agnes Hall. It features an ashlar base and a bronze gnomon. The sundial is circular in shape and stands about 1 metre high. It has a stepped plinth that supports a column with a moulded cornice and a dial. The name on the dial is mostly obscured, but it reveals a date from the 17th century.
