Description

This sundial, dating from the 18th century, is located 7 metres south of Carlton Hall in Carlton-on-Trent. It is made of ashlar and was created by John Wood of Grantham. The sundial features a round plinth and a fluted baluster stem, topped with a moulded capital and supported by four curved iron struts. It has a good bronze dial and is included in the listing for its group value.
