Description

No. 23 Main Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of brick and has a colour-washed finish with a pantiled roof. The house features a centre lobby-entry plan and is a single storey with attics, consisting of three bays. There are three stone steps leading up to a boarded door, which is flanked on the left by two three-light sliding sash windows with glazing bars and sills, and on the right by a similar sash window. The building has end and axial stacks, with tumbled-in brick at the plain close verges.
