Description
Grange Croft Farmhouse and the outbuilding to the right are located on Wawne Sutton Road and date from the mid-18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick, which is colour-washed, and features a wood and cast-tile roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with a parallel rear range under a double-span roof.
On the ground floor, there is a central six-panel door with a fanlight that has glazing bars, situated beneath a 20th-century timber hood supported by brackets. This door is flanked on both sides by 19th-century square bays containing two-pane sash windows. The first floor features a four-pane sash window above the door, with additional sashes with glazing bars on either side. The attics have gabled roof dormers that include two-light casements. The ends of the building have stacks, with tumbled-in brickwork at the raised gables.
To the right of the farmhouse, there is a single-bay, single-storey outbuilding that has 20th-century double boarded doors and a pentice roof, which is set behind a low parapet that ramps up to the house.
