Description
The gate piers at Shrubbery Garth date from the mid-18th century and are made of stone and lead. They consist of a pair of rusticated gate piers topped with lead lions, with smaller rusticated piers on either side, all standing on square bases. These piers were originally the entrance to Kilnwick Hall, which was demolished in 1951.
