Description
This house, located on the south-west side of Molescroft Road, was built around 1860 in the Gothic Revival style. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings, a timber eaves cornice, and a slate roof. The design incorporates Perpendicular Gothic details. The house is two storeys high and two bays wide. On the ground floor, the right side features a boarded door set within a pointed opening with blank Perpendicular tracery and continuous mouldings, all topped by a hoodmould. To the left is a square bay with a two-light square-headed window featuring Perpendicular tracery, flanked on either side by narrow lights with cinquefoil heads, all under floating cornices. The first floor has a similar window above the door, and a three-light square-headed window with Perpendicular tracery and a hoodmould to the left. The eaves have a moulded cornice supported by brackets, and there are end stacks.
