Description
The lodge to Kilnwick Percy Hall, built around 1840, is constructed of ashlar with slate roofs. It has a cross-shaped plan with a tetrastyle Ionic portico featuring a pediment on each arm. The main elevation is one storey with attics and consists of three bays. In the center, there is a sash window with glazing bars, set in an architrave with a sill, positioned behind the portico. On either side, there are French windows with glazing bars and blank panels above. Additional French windows are located at the re-entrant angles under porches supported by pilasters. The building features a moulded eaves cornice and a central stack.
