Description
Holgate Cottages are a terrace of five houses built in the late 18th century. The houses are constructed of brick, which has been colour-washed, and have pantiled roofs. They are two storeys high with five windows to the first floor. Each cottage features a door of six raised and fielded panels, along with a 16-pane sash window under a segmental brick arch on the ground floor. The first floor has five similar sash windows. The roof has plain close verges, and there are end and axial stacks.
