Description
This is an early 19th-century coachouse attached to Number 20 on Church Green. It is constructed of brick, topped with a Welsh slate roof, and features four brick stacks. The building has three storeys and six windows, each a sash window with glazing bars and a stucco rusticated lintel. The ground floor has one window to each property, along with a doorway featuring plain pilasters and a cornice. There are two original four-panel doors, and one modern door with panelled reveals. Each door is topped with a three-light rectangular fanlight. A one-storey former coachhouse is attached to the main building and includes a rusticated carriage entry. Nos 20 to 22, Church Green form a group of local interest with other buildings on Church Green, Baylegate and Kirkgate, as well as the Church of St Mary.
