Description
Nos 6 and 7 on Saturday Market in Beverley are probably 18th century buildings that have undergone alterations. They are three storeys tall. No 6 features one window and is constructed of painted brown brick with a pantile roof. The second-floor windows have near flush frame sash windows with remaining glazing bars, while the first-floor window has a flat arch and is also painted. The ground floor has a modern shop window, and there are coupled brackets at the eaves. No 7 is rendered and limewashed, also with a pantile roof and coupled brackets at the eaves. It has two windows with rusticated lintels and keystones, featuring near flush frame hung sashes without glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front.
