Description

KEYINGHAM CHURCH LANE TA 22 NW (west side) 2/21 Base of St Philip's Cross approximately 10 centimetres east of Ebor House GV II Cross. Medieval. Ashlar. Stump of square shaft on square pedestal. Overall height approximately 0.5 metre. Known as St Philip's Cross, dedicated to Philip Ingleberd, vicar of Keyingham, d1325, whose shrine stood in south chapel of nearby Church of St Nicholas (qv).
