Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Shaws Drive in Meols, Hoylake. This one-storey building is constructed of stone and features a thatched roof. It has six irregular bays, which include one horizontally sliding sash window, one small paned casement, and one small light, while the others are fitted with 20th-century casements. The entrance is marked by a 20th-century glazed porch. The house has two cross-axial stacks and a gable-end stack. The right side facing the street has a coped gable, and the rear of the house is similar in design.
