Description
The Booking Hall of the Ferry Terminal in Birkenhead is a ferry terminal building from the late 19th century. It features an iron frame with boarded cladding and a half-hipped roof, supported internally by wrought-iron trusses. The building has eight structural bays in length and four in width, with the entrance located to the right of the center. Above the entrance, there is a gabled dormer that houses a clock. A hipped-roof canopy extends along the front of the building, supported by cast-iron columns with decorative brackets. Inside, some original ticket booths remain. The original landing stage and walkways have been demolished.
