Description
Parr House is a stable building dating from 1732, as indicated by a date stone inscribed "Iohn Parr/Ieleen Parr," which is now partly worn. The ground floor is constructed of stone, while the first floor is made of brick, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there are three stable doors and windows featuring plain stone lintels, along with three pitching holes above that now have windows. The roof structure includes king post trusses with struts and one remaining wind brace. The gable ends are adorned with ball finials. This building is included for its group value.
