Description
Billinge Hall is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a roof made of slate and concrete tiles. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays, with the end bays projecting under gables and being taller than the others; the second bay also projects. Most of the windows are three-light, featuring single-chamfered mullions and drip moulds. The second bay contains a blocked two-light window with a band above it. The entrance is marked by an angled canopy, an architrave, and a wide-boarded door. The returns of the building have two projecting lateral stacks. At the rear, there is a window with a small-paned horizontally-sliding sash and two mullions, which likely was originally a six-light window. The interior has not been inspected.
