Description

No. 20 Nelson Street is a house that was formerly a Mission building, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall with a basement and features five bays. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. There is a sill course on the first floor and a cornice at the top. The central entrance is round-arched and has a Doric doorcase with fluted columns, leading to a six-panel door. The property is also adorned with plain iron area railings and bowed iron balconies on the first floor.
