Description

22, 24, and 26 Nelson Street are three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two bays. There is a sill band on the first floor and a cornice at the top. The windows feature wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The entrances are round-headed, and there are plain iron area railings.

No 22 has a Doric doorcase with fluted columns and an eight-panel door, along with bowed iron balconies. No 24 also features a Doric doorcase with fluted columns, a complete fanlight, and a four-panel door. No 26 has a consoled doorcase and a complete fanlight, with a canted shop window to the left.
