Description

Stanley Terrace is a terrace of ten houses dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are built of brick with stone dressings, covered by a slate roof. Each house has two storeys and one bay. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The houses have paired entrances topped by a common lintel, and most of the entrances have four-panel doors. Brick stacks are present. Stanley Terrace provides a good example of 19th-century workers' housing, situated on a pedestrian street with a central gutter.
