Description

The entrance to Anfield Cemetery on Priory Road was built around 1862 and features four gate piers designed by Lucy and Littler. The piers are made of stone and have a moulded base, nook shafts, a weathered cap, and a pyramidal finial. The entrance is adorned with richly ornamented wrought iron gates, which consist of two leaves for the central opening and single leaves for the outer openings.
