Description
This house, numbers 17 and 17A Fulwood Park, dates to around 1840 and is constructed of stucco with a slate roof. It is two storeys high, with five bays in total, the first two bays projecting, accompanied by a one-bay return. The ground floor features a cornice; the first floor has a sill course and a top entablature. The windows are sash windows with most retaining their original glazing bars, all set within architraves. A projecting window in the ground floor of the end bay is topped with a consoled and bracketed hood. A frieze and consoled cornice adorn the first-floor window of the fourth bay. The porch features a four-bay colonnade with antae, with the end bay enclosed by a window with an architraved surround, and a pediment above. A panelled parapet tops the building. Behind the colonnade are three round-headed windows, and an entrance is located in the return.
