Description
This is an office building located at 18-22 North John Street and 18 Cook Street, dating from the 1840s. It is constructed of stucco and features four storeys with eight bays facing North John Street, a curved corner bay, and four bays on Cook Street. The ground floor has 20th-century sill bands at the first and second floors, along with a cornice and blocking course. Some first-floor windows have architraves, with two featuring pediments on consoles, and there are casement windows. All upper windows are sashes with glazing bars. The first-floor window in the corner bay has an architrave and a pediment on consoles. On the Cook Street facade, the first-floor windows also have architraves, and there is a stringcourse above the first floor.
