Description
This barn, located approximately 20 meters west of Tyrer's Farmhouse, dates back to 1822 as indicated on the east gable. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond (4+1) and features a stone slate roof. The barn consists of three unequal bays and has a large semi-elliptical headed waggon doorway that is offset to the left of center, protected by a shallow porch with splayed cheeks and a carried-down roof. To the left of the waggon doorway, there is one square window at the first floor, and to the right, there is one similar window on each floor. A weather vane is positioned close to the right-hand gable. The gable wall includes three doorways with stone surrounds, with the left corner doorway being larger than the others. Additionally, there are two circular pitching holes and a decorative pattern of raised headers above these, which forms the date "1822". This barn forms a group with Tyrer's Farmhouse.
