Description

Three pairs of piers and linking walls, dating from around 1700 and restored in the 20th century, are located approximately 20 meters north of Harrock Hall. Constructed from sandstone ashlar, all the piers have a square plan. The central gatepiers and the end piers feature channelled rustication, cornices, and ball finials. These piers are connected by low walls that were designed to support railings. In the center of each wall, there is a smaller intermediate pier, also with a cornice and ball finial.
