Description

The 18th century buildings at 1 and 3 Parson Lane form part of a group of properties, numbers 5 to 19 of which are considered of local interest. They are two storeys high, with rough rendered walls and a stone slate roof. The facades originally had three windows each, with stone lintels and no glazing bars. A penticed extension is located to the left. Number 1 has a single ground-floor window and a six-panel door, with two glazed panels, set within a stone surround. A rendered plinth is present. In the mid-19th century, a shop front was added to Number 3, along with a six-panel door and a rectangular fanlight. To the right of the main block is a passage archway with a stone surround.
