Description
Standridge Farmhouse, dated 1763 on a plaque on the first floor, is constructed from squared watershot sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The house has a double-pile plan with a central entrance and end stacks, standing two storeys high with two bays. The windows are tripartite, framed by plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The entrance door also has a plain stone surround. To the left of the house is an agricultural unit that includes a re-used one-light window with an inner hollow chamfer and outer chamfer. To the right, there is a door surround made from re-used 17th-century dressings, which are partly moulded and partly chamfered. At the rear of the house, there is a tall stair window with plain reveals and three transoms, along with three two-light windows featuring square mullions and a plain stone door surround.
