Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century that has been altered. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, rendered at the front, and has a slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The windows are double chamfered with mullions and hoods, with the first-floor hoods made of render. To the left of the porch, there are two three-light windows, and to the right, there is one three-light window. On the first floor, there are four windows, each with two lights. The gabled porch is from the 19th century and features an outer chamfered door surround. The inner door is from the 17th century, with a chamfered surround and a four-centred head, although it has been partly cut back. The chimneys are located on the gables and to the right of the door. The rear wall has modern windows with plain reveals, and there are no visible 17th-century features inside.
