Description

Stump Cross is a cross located on Helmfield Road in Bolton-by-Bowland. The base of the cross is likely medieval, while the shaft and head may date from the late 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features a roughly square base that is socketed for a shaft of a Latin cross, which is also square in plan and has chamfered edges.
