Description

Ellenthorpe Farmhouse is a house from the mid-18th century, constructed of slobbered rubble with a slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays. The windows are made up of three lights, featuring plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The door, located between the bays, has a chamfered surround and a Tudor-arched head. There are gable chimneys and an outshut at the rear. Inside, the right-hand front room includes a wide fireplace with a roughly-dressed segmental arch, which contains a later bread oven.
