Description

This is a house, likely dating from 1619, as indicated by a lintel inscription. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high. On the front facade, to the right of a modern porch, is a three-light double-chamfered mullioned window with a hood mould. To the far left of the facade, set beyond a modern window, is a similar three-light mullioned window. The first floor features two three-light rebated and chamfered mullioned windows, plus a two-light chamfered window to the right of the porch. The original studded plank door, framed by a chamfered surround and triangular head, is now located within the porch. The house has gable stacks, with the right-hand stack constructed of stone. A wing extends to the rear, and against its south-western wall is an outshut.
