Description

This barn, located approximately 15 metres north of Fir Tree House, is possibly from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The south-west wall includes a wide entrance with plain reveals and a segmental head. To the left of the entrance, there is a chamfered stone door surround that is partly blocked and likely re-used. To the right, there is a window with plain reveals and a concrete lintel, along with traces of a blocked doorway at the far right. Inside, the barn has bolted king-post trusses.
