Description
Pimlico Farmhouse and the attached farm building date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The building is two storeys high and has a pebble dashed exterior. The central doorway features a moulded design with a square head, and above it is a panel inscribed with "H W D 1715". A dripstone moulding with a long horizontal terminal and short vertical members frames the panel. On either side of the doorway are 6-light mullion and transom windows, each topped with a similar dripstone. The upper storey has two single-light windows with moulded reveals and heavy moulded dripstones, and to the right is a splayed forking hole leading into a hay loft. Below this forking hole is a chamfered door, both of which share the same heavy drip moulding, likely added in the 18th or 19th century. The upper windows contain glazing bars. To the right of the farmhouse is the barn, constructed of coursed stone with rusticated quoins, featuring a tall arched cart entry.
