Description

Fishergate Bridge is a road bridge that spans the main railway lines in Preston. It was built in the late 19th century and later extended. The bridge is constructed from sandstone ashlar and cast iron, featuring very large rectangular piers and a high parapet made of cast-iron panels. It provides access to the central approach of the station on the south side. The bridge is included in the listing for its group value only.
