Description
The village stocks, likely from the 18th century, are located on the south outer side of the gateway into the churchyard of the Church of St. John the Baptist. They were restored in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII. The structure features two shouldered stone slabs and two wooden beams that have housings for two occupants, along with metal shackles. Behind the stocks, there is a stone bench against the churchyard wall, which bears a commemorative inscription and the names of the church wardens, dated 1902.
