Description

Coates Lane or Greenfield Bridge Number 156 is a public road bridge built in 1794, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. The bridge is constructed of ashlar and features a single elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs. It has a band and a solid parapet, with curving abutments that end in piers.
