Barrowford Road Bridge, number 143, is a public road bridge built in 1794, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a single elliptical arch made of rusticated voussoirs, which are slightly splayed to accommodate the towpath on the eastern sides. The bridge has a band and a plain coped parapet, with curved abutments that end in piers.
