Description
Dunkenshaw and the barn adjoining to the west are a house and barn dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed from sandstone rubble and topped with a slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and feature plain stone surrounds. The door, located between the bays, also has a plain stone surround. There are chimneys on the gables, which are finished with copings and kneelers. The adjoining barn to the left is lower in height and has a wide entrance with a stone lintel and an external sliding door. To the left of the barn are two windows with plain reveals, and to the right is a door with long-and-short jambs.
