Description

Wrayton Hall Farmhouse is a house likely built in the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a slate roof, forming an L-plan layout over two storeys. The eastern facade features rebated and chamfered windows, each with individual hoods. The first-floor windows are made up of two lights with mullions, while the ground-floor windows are of similar size but have had their mullions removed. One ground-floor window on the right side is modern and has plain reveals. The house has gable chimneys, with the left-hand chimney projecting and featuring offsets, and the right-hand chimney projecting at the first-floor level on corbels.

On the north gable wall, there is a door with plain reveals, which is situated under a hood. The north facade consists of two bays. The ground-floor windows here are of three lights with flat-faced mullions. On the first floor, one window has a rebated and chamfered surround, while another has plain reveals. Between the bays, there is a door with a moulded surround, moulded imposts, and a shaped lintel that bears an illegible date and initials. The right-hand gable also has a chimney supported by stone corbels at the first-floor level.
