Description
Redwards is an old people's home that was originally part of the service accommodation for Ellel Grange. It was built between 1857 and 1859 and is now a detached building due to recent demolitions. The structure is made of squared sandstone and features a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with a sill band on the first floor and a cornice. The left-hand corner has been reconstructed. The windows are sashed, with glazing bars and architraves. There are two chimneys on the ridge, each adorned with a bracketed string and a bracketed cornice.
