Description

Morecambe Lodge is an early 19th-century house constructed from pebbledashed rubble with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, arranged symmetrically. It has chamfered quoins and a central doorway that includes a glazed fanlight, a door with raised and fielded panels, and a porch supported by two pilasters and two slim unfluted Greek Doric columns topped with a moulded cornice. The ground floor windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds, while the first floor windows also feature plain stone surrounds. Gable stacks are present on the roof.
