Description

Ellel Hall is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared sandstone with a slate roof. The building has a symmetrical design, with two main stories and an attic, and comprises three bays. Architectural details include a plinth, string course, and cornice. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and plain reveals. Two timber dormers light the attic. The front door is flanked by attached Tuscan columns with fluted necking, supporting a moulded pediment. The gables are finished with copings and chimneys. Inside, the staircase features stick balusters and a swept mahogany handrail. The remaining rooms were not inspected.
