Description
The southern range of buildings at Royal Albert Farm, part of the Royal Albert Hospital, is a group of farm buildings dating from the late 19th century, likely designed by the architectural firm Paley and Austin. The structure is built from squared coursed sandstone rubble and features green slate roofs. It is a single-storey building. On the north wall, there is a wide sliding door located towards the center, accompanied by a second doorway (now reduced in width) and a window to its left. To the right of the sliding door, there are two windows and an additional doorway. These buildings were constructed as ancillary facilities for the Royal Albert Idiot Asylum, which was completed in 1873.
