Description

A pair of gate piers located approximately 5 metres south-west of Scale Hall, dating from the early 18th century. They are made of rusticated sandstone ashlar and each measures about 0.6 metres square in plan and approximately 3 metres high. The piers feature a low chamfered plinth, a prominent moulded cornice, and a low rounded top.
