Description
Mount Pleasant Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of rendered rubble with sandstone dressings and has a slate roof. The symmetrical front façade is two storeys high and three bays wide, featuring sashed windows set in plain stone surrounds. A porch is present with two pilasters supporting a lintel with a dentilled cornice. The left-hand return wall has two sashed windows on each floor, and a small stone surround containing a fixed window is located between the windows on the ground floor. Gable ends show projecting purlins. A barn, also listed, is located in Carnforth civil parish.
