Description
Hall Farmhouse dates to 1704, as indicated by the lintel inscription. It is a farmhouse built of pebbledashed rubble, with a slate roof. The house follows a "T" plan, with a central entrance and gable stacks. It is two storeys high with an attic, and comprises three bays. Sashed windows with glazing bars are set in plain stone surrounds. The door surround features deep moulding that extends around a shaped lintel. The gables have copings and kneelers. A small, chamfered attic window with a single light is found in the right-hand gable. A rear wing exhibits the remains of rebated and chamfered window surrounds on both floors of the left-hand wall, which faces the road. The interior is documented as being of interest.
