Description
Jones' Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered. It is built from coursed rubble with quoins and features a slate roof with a brick chimney on the ridge. The building has two storeys and was originally designed with three bays and a baffle-entry in a two-storey porch. Shippons were added under the same roof at the left end later on.
The facade has a prominent dripmould that includes a label stop and supports a round porch. This porch has a large rectangular lintel above the door located in the left side wall. There is a small round-headed window on the first floor of this side of the porch, another on the ground floor at the front, and a stone mullioned window with two round-headed lights on the first floor. In addition, there are three windows on each floor, all of which are large modern casements. The right return wall was not visible during this survey but previously had two old windows under a common label. Access to this area is restricted.
