Description
This is a section of the former boundary wall to the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, likely dating from the early 18th century. The wall is made of coursed squared sandstone rubble and features rounded coping. It measures approximately 3.5 meters long and 3 meters high. The left end of the wall includes a rectangular stone plaque, which is partially obscured by a 20th-century wall, and is inscribed with the names "William Bolton / John Rigby / Church Wardens / 17[?]1," although part of the inscription is illegible. This wall is part of a group with the Church of All Saints.
