Description
This is a barn located to the west of Club House Farmhouse, dated 1660 according to a stone inscription. The barn is constructed of painted stone rubble, with some brick and a slate roof. It features four bays, with a cow house beneath a cat-slide roof on the north side and a 20th-century lean-to garage on the south side. The east gable end is made of brick and includes quoins, a window, an entrance, and a pitching hole, with the date stone positioned above the entrance. The north facade has barn doors and windows with small-paned glazing on the left, while the cow house on the right has a large entrance at the east end. Inside, there are tie beam and strut trusses, with two adjoining cow house sections supported by posts with braces and wind braces. The interior also has small ventilation slots, and the east bay has an inserted floor with a partition for a stable.
