Description

Seamon's Moss Bridge is a public road bridge that spans the Bridgewater Canal, which was opened in 1776 and engineered by John Gilbert. The bridge is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings. It features a segmental brick arch that is situated below a stone band. The original stone copings have been partially replaced with brick, and brick buttresses support the side walls.
